BlownSol and JRcivic....
The dyno was not a chassis dyno.... it was an engine dyno. And no, it was not Ed. Although Ed has dynoed my car up until recently. Previously the highest Ed ever saw off my car was 229hp and 185 Ftlbs.
We expect that at 7600rpm(ish) it should top out between 365-370hp. Assuming the typical 12% driveline loss, that should put me at 321hp @ the wheels. (Oh yeah, and don't forget the 70 shot of NOS)

So to sum up what you're doing here, 14psiGSR, is building out a Larry Widmer special, which is a fully built motor with a worked JRSC with a small pulley?

Did you keep the stock rod ratio??
Or did Larry work up a more comfortable rod ratio?

MouhadIb:
Getting the power down will be a problem... I hope.
SiRyder:
The car has been inoperable since May. That had nothing to do with Larry. Larry has only had the motor since the weekend of September 22nd, when I loaded the motor up and drove it to him.
As far as cost, I will tell you that aside from the additional cost of the JRSC rebuild, the actual motor rebuild was less than $700 dollars more than everbody else wanted to charge me. Mind you, $700 is no small change, but for what Larry and ENDYN are giving me I would have paid alot more. Not to mention the fact that places like Bensons, JG and one of my local shops couldnt explain what they were doing that was better than the next guy.
As for the cars equipment, everything is listed in the signiture below. I have no CAI, yet. I will have Larry's "bathtub" intake when he gets one in for my application.
You can find out more about ENDYN at http://www.theoldone.com

Damn! that is incredible! i was recently pondering whether to go turbo or super, but after reading this, i'm definitely going with super! my question is how long was the down time on your car? how long was it non-operational? i ask because i only have one car. what other accessories do you have to help the supercharger? liquid intercooler, water injection, CAI or short ram? also (this has got to be the big question), HOW MUCH DID IT ALL COST?! thanx for your time.

so it cost $700 for the rebuild (port/polish, pistons, rods, modified crank, valves, valve springs and retainers)? if so then i would consider that nothing, because i paid around $630 for my tanabe racing medallion exhaust! also, did any work have to be done on the supercharger? and where is ENDYN located? thanx!

oh...okay. i bet it is a way better job. i mean 345 turbocharged hp is nothing really, but supercharged?, that must take some skills! by the way, i've read and heard that a short ram intake is better for supercharged applications, because the air has less piping to flow through even though it may be slightly warmer than the CAI's because the CAI air has longer piping to go through. can anyone substantiate this claim, because i've noticed in most your signatures that a lot of you have CAI's.
